About The Company
Our client specialises in the management of various orthopaedic conditions, including hip, knee, foot and ankle, shoulder, elbow, and wrist issues, as well as orthopedic trauma across Sydney. The team is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care with compassion and respect for all patients.
About The Opportunity
You will be working within a purpose built, Orthopaedic Specialist Clinic providing secretarial support to Orthopaedic Surgeons. You will be part of a dedicated team of clinicians and administrators to deliver excellent patient care.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the clinical diary and overseeing the appointment schedule for the surgeon
- Coordinate and prepare hospital admissions in collaboration with external stakeholders
- Generate fee estimates for surgical procedures and processing surgical accounts
- Handle clinic and hospital invoicing, banking, and monthly reconciliation
- Provide exceptional customer service by professionally answering incoming calls
- Ensure accurate and confidential management of patient records
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, DVA, Third Party, Workers Compensation, Eclipse, and Private Insurers
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and empathise with patients
- Capability to multi-task and handle diverse responsibilities
- Familiarity with Blue Chip (Medical Director) is highly regarded
- Flexibility in start and finish times to accommodate the surgeon's schedule
