About The Opportunity

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee job progress from start to finish, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal downtime
• Track job hours, reduce waste, and look for ways to enhance efficiency and profitability
• Training and mentoring apprentices, fostering their technical skills and confidence
• Working closely with the Service Advisor to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
• Aiming to achieve workshop KPIs and quality assurance targets consistently
• Perform detailed checks and ensure all work meets compliance standards 

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a mechanic
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Roadworthy Certification and Experience (Highly regarded)
• Certificate III In Light Vehicle or Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• A proven background in leading automotive teams, driving performance, and mentoring staff
