About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver high-quality mechanical servicing and repairs on a broad range of vehicles while contributing to the leadership and mentorship within the team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Potential involvement in RACQ Patrol and Tow Truck services, and Hydraulink hose fitting
• Performing logbook servicing, brake, clutch, suspension, and exhaust repairs
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and completing necessary repairs
• Conducting windscreen chip repairs and air-conditioning servicing
• Supervising and mentoring mature-age apprentices
  
  

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

• 4+ years post-trade experience and own trade tools
• Current QLD HR Driver License (or willingness to obtain)
• QLD RWC Examiner accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Willingness to supervise and train apprentices, and teach welding
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills across vehicle types
• Trade Qualification – Diesel Mechanic (Light Vehicle and Commercial)
