About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to provide expert mechanical servicing and repairs across a range of vehicles, while playing a key part in mentoring within a supportive team.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Performing servicing, repairs, and diagnostics across a wide range of light and commercial vehicles
- Handling clutch, brake, suspension, exhaust, air conditioning and windscreen chip repairs
- Potential involvement in RACQ Patrol, towing and Hydraulink hose fitting
- Supporting the supervision and training of apprentices, including welding
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Trade Qualification – Diesel Mechanic (Light Vehicle and Commercial)
- QLD RWC Examiner Accreditation or willingness to obtain
- Confidence in supervising and mentoring apprentices
- 4+ years post-trade experience and your own tools
- A current QLD HR licence or willingness to obtain
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
