As they continue to expand and modernise their operations, the company is seeking a Digital Innovation Lead to accelerate automation, strengthen systems integration, and drive digital transformation across manufacturing, compliance, and customer-service functions.

About The Opportunity

The Digital Innovation Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s digital future - leading improvement projects that streamline processes, improve data flow, and enhance both staff and customer experiences.

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will collaborate closely with operations, finance, and customer-experience teams to identify opportunities, deliver solutions, and embed new technologies that make the business faster, smarter, and more connected.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Innovation

• Develop and deliver a 1–3 year digital-innovation roadmap across operations, finance, production, and customer service.
• Evaluate and introduce automation, AI, and workflow solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Stay informed on global technology trends in manufacturing, CAD/CAM, and digital transformation.

Project Delivery & Systems Integration

• Lead digital and automation projects from scoping through to implementation and adoption.
• Manage internal and external stakeholders, including tech vendors and consultants.
• Ensure seamless integration between existing platforms and new systems.
• Personally build and configure smaller-scale automations and workflow tools (e.g., Sage, Asana, Co-Pilot, Smartsheet, Power Automate, AI agents) to deliver quick wins.

Process & Data Optimisation

• Map and analyse current workflows to identify inefficiencies and process gaps.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools that give leaders real-time visibility of performance.
• Support data integrity, standardisation, and security across all business systems.

Knowledge Management & Training

• Maintain the organisation’s internal knowledge base and process documentation.
• Train and coach staff to confidently use new tools and systems.
• Foster a culture of digital curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Operational Collaboration

• Work with the Operations Manager to design smarter workflows that support compliance and turnaround goals.
• Act as backup for key systems and digital operations when required.

About You

You bring a balance of strategic vision and hands-on capability, with experience leading and implementing technology or process-improvement projects in a commercial or manufacturing environment.

You’ll also demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering automation or digital-transformation initiatives.
• Practical, hands-on skill with workflow or automation tools
• Experience managing cross-functional projects from concept to delivery.
• Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical solutions into business value.
• Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments (highly regarded).
• A passion for systems, innovation, and helping teams work smarter through technology.
