About The Opportunity
As the Project & Maintenance Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of projects and maintenance activities. This role involves:
- Management of daily activities of contractors, including rosters and after-hours support.
- Coordinating project activities, people, resources, and information to drive project success.
- Addressing industrial service requests and maintenance, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.
- Liaising with clients and internal departments to define project requirements and objectives.
- Planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance to maximise equipment performance.
- Monitoring equipment performance and implementing maintenance strategies to prevent disruptions.
- Maintaining an inventory of spare parts and tools for timely procurement.
- Documenting maintenance activities accurately using computerised management systems.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A valid A-grade electrical license.
- Demonstrated experience in project and maintenance coordination in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and automation processes.
- Proficient leadership and team management abilities to inspire a diverse workforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, along with negotiating skills.
- Experience in scheduling and planning within a maintenance role.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop preventative maintenance systems.
- Familiarity with industry-specific standards and Australian codes.
You will also have a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to safety and compliance, ensuring all operations align with industry standards.
