About The Opportunity
The Team Leader will play a pivotal role in supporting the Operations Director to enhance project efficiency and team productivity. This position involves motivating team members, overseeing project coordination, and ensuring alignment with the company's objectives from their Westgate, Auckland office.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling jobs and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) visits to ensure efficient appointment management
- Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for team assignments
- Addressing and resolving team conflicts and implementing solutions to enhance morale
- Overseeing project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget
- Tracking and evaluating team performance, providing constructive feedback, and implementing necessary improvement plans
- Facilitating training and development opportunities for team members to promote continuous professional growth
- Coordinating with internal and external customers to align project goals with customer needs
- Assistance with installation and commissioning of audio visual and control systems
- Assistance with programming, testing, servicing and repair of systems as required
- Demonstration of installed systems to customers
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years of technical experience in a similar industry (audio, security, telecommunications, construction etc)
- Proficiency in project management methodologies
- A diploma or equivalent qualification in Electronics, Business, Human Resource Management, or a related field (desirable)
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate
