About The Opportunity
As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to transition from traditional tax and business services into an interesting and specialised field of business valuations. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working independently on business valuation reports for a diverse range of clients.
- Analysing financial data to assess business performance and market value.
- Preparing detailed reports providing unbiased valuation insights.
- Collaborating with business owners, accountants, and legal professionals.
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian financial regulations.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm.
- Experience in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for various entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.
- A broad understanding of Australian taxation legislation.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
- The ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment.
