This well-established family-run business has proudly operated in the wastewater recycling industry for the past 18 years. Beginning with just two technicians, the team has grown steadily and now includes four full-time field technicians, a Technical Adviser (who also co-owns the business), and five committed administrative staff.
Operating from Malaga, WA, the organisation delivers essential services across domestic, commercial, and government sectors. With a reputation for reliability and a collaborative culture, the company offers a secure and supportive working environment.
About The Opportunity
This is a field-based role focusing on the service and maintenance of Aerobic Treatment Units (ATUs) and Alternative Waste Treatment Systems (AWTS) across the greater Perth area.
You will be provided with all necessary training to carry out the work effectively – no prior wastewater industry experience is required. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain technical field experience while making a genuine impact in an essential industry.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting issues on-site
- Communicating clearly with customers and office staff
- Ensuring all safety and quality procedures are followed
- Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing of wastewater systems
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Flexibility to adapt to a changing daily schedule
- The ability to pass a drug, alcohol, and fitness test
- Up-to-date immunisations (e.g. Hep A and Tetanus)
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- A clean C Class driver’s licence and enjoyment of being on the road
- A positive, practical attitude and the physical fitness to work outdoors
- Willingness to complete or provide existing Confined Space training
Previous experience in the wastewater industry is desirable, but not essential.
