About The Opportunity
As the Finance and Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting finance functions, managing office administration, and providing assistance to engineering teams.
This role is a Part Time 30hrs week, Fixed Term Contract For 9 months.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the accounts email inbox and handling payables, ensuring timely payment of bills and accurate coding.
- Setting up and sending out invoices, following up on late payments, and maintaining debtor records.
- Assisting with financial reporting, including Profit & Loss and budgeting reports.
- Acting as the owner/manager of the WorkflowMax financial and job administration system.
- First point of contact for the office, managing communications and visitor inquiries.
- Handling office supplies, organising team activities, and supporting new team member onboarding.
- Coordinating office equipment maintenance and ensuring a tidy work environment.
- Supporting client onboarding processes and maintaining client data accuracy.
- Assisting with job administration and supporting engineers in achieving required processes.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role covering office and financial administration
- Experience with invoicing, payables, receivables, and payroll
- Proficiency in Xero and iPayroll or similar financial systems
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Technological competence and familiarity with Deltek and WorkflowMax software would be advantageous
You will also have:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
