About The Opportunity

As a full-time Light Vehicle Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts utilised
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
  • Conducting comprehensive inspections to identify necessary repairs or replacements
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient workshop environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Ensuring all work is completed in alignment with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices 
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on various light vehicles, including cars, vans, and light trucks

About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related field
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of light vehicles
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with customers and colleagues
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think critically and find effective solutions
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic with a solid understanding of modern vehicle systems and technologies
