Similar to the casual restorer PD only being responsible for jobs, tools and up to four (4) casual techs in their team, and if proven to be adequate at the job and once they prove themselves, they may be offered the use of a company vehicle.

About The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and hands-on HVAC Restorer with leadership experience to join a small, fast-paced team in a casual capacity. Shifts are available across both day and night, offering flexibility and variety.

As the Team Leader, you will oversee and support project execution, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across all restoration tasks. You’ll lead by example and guide a small crew through day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and leading site setup and preparation for restoration projects
  • Supervising and assisting with internal duct and air handling unit cleaning (manual and equipment-based)
  • Overseeing duct sealing, protective coating application, and minor repairs to sheet metal and insulation
  • Ensuring safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are met before, during, and after each project
  • Managing post-project pack-up, equipment return, and site organisation
  • Supporting workshop operations, including maintenance and readiness of tools and equipment
  • Mentoring and guiding team members, ensuring smooth workflow and task completion

About You

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a trades assistant or restoration role:

  • Current manual driver’s licence
  • White & Blue Card, Confined Space and Working at Heights Certification
  • Experience in HVAC, air conditioning, or ventilation (advantageous)
  • Physically fit and capable of hands-on labour
  • High attention to detail and safety awareness
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
