About The Opportunity

This role is suited for a hands-on Diesel Mechanic who enjoys variety and takes real pride in delivering quality work. You’ll work both in the field and the workshop across a range of trucks, 4WDs, mobile plant, and earthmoving gear.

Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Keeping job cards and timesheets neat and accurate
  • Attending to on-site breakdowns and maintenance as needed
  • Supporting apprentices and junior team members on the tools
  • Servicing and repairing a broad range of vehicles and equipment
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service

About You

We’re after someone who gets the job done right without cutting corners. You’ll bring:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in diesel mechanics
  • A Manual Driver’s Licence (HR and forklift ticket a bonus)
  • A “let’s figure it out” attitude and solid problem-solving skills
  • A team-focused mindset and a genuine pride in your workmanship
  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
