About The Opportunity
This role is suited for a hands-on Diesel Mechanic who enjoys variety and takes real pride in delivering quality work. You’ll work both in the field and the workshop across a range of trucks, 4WDs, mobile plant, and earthmoving gear.
Reporting directly to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping job cards and timesheets neat and accurate
- Attending to on-site breakdowns and maintenance as needed
- Supporting apprentices and junior team members on the tools
- Servicing and repairing a broad range of vehicles and equipment
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service
About You
We’re after someone who gets the job done right without cutting corners. You’ll bring:
- At least 5 years’ experience in diesel mechanics
- A Manual Driver’s Licence (HR and forklift ticket a bonus)
- A “let’s figure it out” attitude and solid problem-solving skills
- A team-focused mindset and a genuine pride in your workmanship
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
