About The Opportunity
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for employers and injured workers in matters related to workplace rehabilitation and return-to-work planning.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying barriers to return-to-work and implementing effective strategies.
- Preparing detailed reports to support case progress and insurance requirements.
- Managing a caseload of clients, providing return-to-work assistance and case management.
- Educating clients and employers on injury prevention and best-practice rehabilitation strategies.
- Conducting thorough workplace assessments, ergonomic evaluations, and functional assessments.
- Liaising with employers, insurers, and medical professionals to create and execute rehabilitation programs.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- Current Accreditation with AHPRA or ESSA
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
- Proactive communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- 6+ months of experience as a rehabilitation consultant with any National Rehabilitation Provider
- Must be able to manage cases at a basic level and commence employment managing a caseload
- An analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex injury cases and develop appropriate management strategies.
- Education in Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Registered Nurse, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling
