About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to carry out exterior washing, cleaning, and maintenance of commercial buildings while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Washing and cleaning exterior surfaces such as windows, walls, gutters, and roofs
  • Performing pressure and power washing to remove dirt, grime, algae, and debris
  • Following safety protocols, including working at heights with appropriate gear
  • Monitoring and maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Communicating with clients to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Supporting team members and independent contractors to meet project goals
  • Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to specification

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years’ experience in commercial cleaning, exterior washing, or building maintenance
  • A Full Class 1 New Zealand driver's licence (essential)
  • Working at Heights certification (Unit Standard 15757) preferred
  • Strong technical skills in cleaning methods and equipment use
  • High level of physical fitness to work outdoors in varying conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Professional and customer-focused approach, even under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
