About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this role is to carry out a mix of commercial and retail fit outs, shopping centre maintenance, body corporate plumbing and occasional residential work.

Reporting directly to the Director and Office Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining compliance with WHS requirements
• Collaborating effectively with other trades on site
• Organising materials and equipment for each job
• Scheduling your own work and overseeing apprentices
• Accurately recording job information in Tradify management software
• Completing rough ins, fit offs, drainage, hot water system installs and grease trap installation

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Good problem solving skills and technical knowledge
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial plumbing
• Gas, TMV or Backflow endorsements highly regarded
• Confident supervising apprentices and leading on site
• Ability to work reliably, independently and as part of a team
• Experienced in working autonomously with minimal supervision
• Full plumbing qualifications and licences, with a White Card and valid Driver Licence
