About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
Reporting directly to the Business Directors, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing parts ordering and ensuring timely delivery
- Delegating tasks to technicians and monitoring daily workflow
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
- Assisting with invoicing, reporting, and customer issue resolution
- Managing workshop scheduling, vehicle bookings, and job cards
- Conducting regular team meetings and technician performance reviews
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
- A current, unrestricted manual and automatic driver’s licence
- Confidence in using or learning workshop management systems
- Prior experience in a Workshop Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong organisational and delegation skills in a fast-paced environment
