About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical HVAC systems in line with Australian Standards.

Due to a recent increase in council contracts, an exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join the team. A position is also open for a 4th year apprentice looking to develop their career further.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Working on government and commercial sites
• Performing preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Engaging with clients and site supervisors in a professional manner
• Completing documentation and complying with site-specific safety requirements
• Servicing and repairing Mechanical HVAC systems (e.g., Central Plants, Package Units, Split Systems)

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• D Grade Electrical Permit
• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• Police Check & Working With Children Check (Mandatory)
• White or Red OH&S Card and Working at Heights Certification
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence and Victorian Driver’s Licence
• Strong Communication Skills And A Self-Motivated, Professional Attitude
