About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee electrical installations on commercial projects, ensuring all work is completed to high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Reporting to the Project Manager and General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing electrical and fault-finding work as required
- Providing leadership and direction to site crews and subcontractors
- Planning and managing daily work tasks across multiple work fronts
- Managing onsite HSEQ requirements and ensuring safety compliance
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
- Liaising closely with the Project Manager and General Manager to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Overseeing daily construction procedures and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standards, and codes
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria)
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation, initiative, and a proactive work ethic
- A commitment to teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and project fronts
- Strong understanding of electrical standards, regulations, and codes
- Strong communication and leadership ability with a customer-focused approach
- Proven experience in commercial construction and office fit-out projects (essential)
