About The Opportunity

As an Entry Level Accountant, you will report directly to the Director and play a key role in the firm’s operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing BAS, IAS, Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, CGT & FBT calculations
• Attending client meetings, providing advice, and managing ongoing communication
• Liaising with the ATO and managing new business entity setups and registrations
• Maintaining accurate client files, ensuring lodgement deadlines are met
• Providing budgeting, cash flow planning, and general business advisory support

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
• At least 1 year of experience in public practice
• Demonstrated skills in tax and financial statement preparation
• Understanding of taxation legislation and proficiency in Xero software
• Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail
• A collaborative, professional, and proactive approach to client service
