About the Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to support both retail and internal service departments in providing expert parts advice and inventory support. You will play a vital role in ensuring customers receive the correct parts and accessories, while supporting the overall success of the Parts & Accessories Department.
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager / Dealer Principal, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in events such as demo weekends and trade shows
- Maintaining a clean and organised retail and storage environment
- Participating in showroom merchandising and promotional activities
- Accurately identifying and supplying motorcycle parts and accessories
- Processing orders, maintaining stock levels, and updating inventory systems
- Supporting Service Technicians and Sales Departments with timely part supply
- Delivering exceptional in-person and phone-based customer service to retail and internal workshop customers
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- A current motorcycle licence (or the ability and willingness to obtain one)
- Previous customer-facing retail experience with a focus on high-level service
- A sound understanding of motorcycle components or a strong willingness to learn
- Strong verbal and written communication and the ability to multitask under pressure
- A Certificate III in Automotive Sales or relevant experience in motorcycle parts sales
