Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director & Senior Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Installing and servicing UHF radios, mobile/portable radio systems, and high-density microwave links
- Working at heights on towers and structures (tower climbing training provided)
- Installing and maintaining copper, fibre optic, and data transmission systems including modems and multiplexers
- Deploying and managing Wi-Fi systems, DC power, and commercial/industrial CCTV setups
- Supporting advanced systems such as PLCs, SCADA, telemetry, and lightning protection infrastructure
About You
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:
- A current Driver Licence and White Card, and be fit and able to work at heights
- Willingness to complete Tower Climbing & Rescue Training (we'll assist with this)
- Ability to pass a Police Check and meet safety/medical requirements
- Experience with commercial/industrial communications cabling is desirable
- ACMA Open Cabler Registration and/or trade qualification highly regarded
