About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to carry out installation and maintenance of network, data, and microwave cabling and antenna systems for commercial and residential projects, including work at heights such as on radio network towers.
Reporting directly to the Director & Senior Technician, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and fixing network faults
- Managing commercial and residential Wi-Fi networks
- Performing work on radio network towers and at heights
- Occasional vehicle installations and varied technical duties
- Installing and maintaining network, coax, data and microwave cabling/antennas
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Current Driver’s Licence & White Card (preferred)
- Apprentices with the right attitude will be considered
- Physically fit, able to work at heights, use hand/power tools
- Willingness to undergo police check and medical clearance for tower work
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar field will be considered an advantage
