About The Company

Our client is a professional strata management firm providing comprehensive Owners Corporation services to residential and commercial properties. Known for their organised systems, responsive service and strong relationships with owners and committees, they deliver reliable property and financial management across a growing portfolio.

With a collaborative team environment and structured processes, they pride themselves on maintaining accurate financial records while supporting owners corporations with transparent and efficient financial management.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Strata Accountant to oversee financial administration and support the ongoing expansion of their property portfolio.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the financial operations of multiple Owners Corporations, ensuring accurate accounting processes, levy management and financial reporting.

Reporting directly to management, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage owner levies including creation, distribution, billing adjustments, and invoice generation through accounting software
  • Monitor arrears and follow up with owners via email, phone calls, and fee notices
  • Process incoming invoices, including reviewing, filing, and organising weekly payment runs
  • Perform weekly account reconciliations to ensure all Owners Corporation accounts balance accurately
  • Prepare financial reports such as annual financial statements, cashflow reports, BAS and tax doc for external accountants
  • Maintain financial records and support admin tasks including updating owner details and onboarding of new properties

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in strata accounting, property accounting or finance management
  • Strong experience with accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills when liaising with owners and stakeholders
  • The ability to manage multiple properties and financial accounts simultaneously
  • A proactive and reliable approach to financial management

Previous experience working within Owners Corporations or strata management environments will be highly regarded.
