With a strong reputation and loyal customer base, they’ve recently expanded into North Lakes and are seeking a driven Senior Retail Sales Assistant to elevate the in-store experience.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is simple: sell, sell, sell. You’ll be the driving force behind store revenue converting walk-ins into buyers, upselling with confidence, and creating a standout customer experience.
Reporting directly to the business owners, your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking the lead on the shop floor engaging customers and driving sales
- Own the daily store operations, including opening/closing and presentation
- Manage stock flow, including receiving, exchanges, returns, and online orders
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards and store layout updates
- Assist with basic admin and provide feedback to improve sales strategy
- Collaborate with the owners on promotions and in-store initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- At least 2 years of retail sales experience.
- A consistent track record of smashing sales targets.
- Background in small business, ideally in shoe or clothing retail
- Technically proficient with POS systems (including Cin7), Microsoft Office, Excel etc..
- Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a team-first mindset
- Hard-working, honest, and brings a positive, solutions-focused attitude
