About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to support the CAM Production Manager while driving technical excellence, continuous improvement, and advanced manufacturing capability across the CAD/CAM department.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing advanced CAD models using Rhinoceros (Rhino)
  • Preparing files, support structures, and sprue strategies for additive manufacturing
  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced 3D printing equipment
  • Optimising print quality, workflow efficiency, and consumable usage
  • Performing quality control across digital manufacturing processes
  • Communicating directly with internal customers regarding production requirements
  • Applying structured problem-solving methodologies including Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, and FMEA
  • Supporting KPI reporting, production analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Assisting with workflow optimisation across the print and casting pipeline
  • Mentoring team members and sharing technical knowledge throughout the department

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Extensive experience within CAD/CAM and additive manufacturing
  • Advanced proficiency using Rhinoceros (Rhino)
  • Experience within jewellery, rapid prototyping, or precision manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience optimising manufacturing quality, efficiency, and throughput
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively

Highly regarded:

  • Grasshopper, parametric modelling, or Python scripting
  • AI and automation applied to manufacturing workflows
  • Investment casting optimisation and defect reduction
  • Product development and Design for Manufacture (DFM)
  • 3D scanning and reverse engineering
  • CNC machining, rendering, or technical visualisation experience
