About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to act as a Solicitor Director overseeing mortgage advance matters, leading a skilled junior team, and delivering high-quality legal outcomes within a fully remote and highly streamlined environment.
You will maintain carriage of your matters while enjoying extensive operational support, sophisticated legal technology, and autonomy to determine your workload, hours and preferred working style.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing mortgage advance matters from end to end
- Providing guidance and oversight to Associates and Paralegals
- Making confident, timely decisions on complex matters
- Building strong lender and client relationships
- Leveraging automation, advanced precedents and AI tools to improve efficiency
- Participating in weekly procedures meetings and group collaboration channels
- Maintaining accuracy across all documentation and compliance processes
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in mortgage advances, property law or banking & finance law
- Strong capability to lead legal files autonomously
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and professional judgement
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
