About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Managing Director / CFO, the Finance Manager will lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring accurate financial operations, strong controls, and timely reporting across the business. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys leading teams and maintaining operational excellence within a project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the business
• Lead and supervise the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong controls
• Oversee transactional accounting including invoicing, progress claims, supplier payments, and reconciliations
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements
• Improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls
• Liaise with project managers to support job costing, contract administration, and financial reporting

About You

You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance leader with strong operational capability and experience managing transactional finance teams.

You will bring:

• CPA or CA qualification (or near completion)
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant, preferably within the construction or project-based sector
• Hands-on experience managing AP and AR functions
• Strong understanding of job costing, progress claims, and project accounting
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• High attention to detail with a practical, problem-solving mindset
