About The Opportunity
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will oversee daily finance operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and smooth business performance. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys leading teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day finance operations of the business
- Lead the AP and AR teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong controls
- Oversee transactional accounting including invoicing, progress claims, supplier payments, and reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and payment cycles
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and statutory requirements
- Improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls
- Liaise with project managers to support job costing, contract administration, and financial reporting
About You
You are a detail-oriented and proactive finance leader with strong operational capability and experience managing transactional finance teams.
You will bring:
- CPA or CA qualification
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant within the construction sector
- Hands-on experience managing AP and AR functions
- Strong understanding of job costing, progress claims, and project accounting
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- High attention to detail with a practical, problem-solving mindset
