About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the ecology division and integrate biodiversity services with construction and nursery operations.
Reporting to the Business Manager/Director, key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing budgets, timelines, and reporting
- Identifying new business and offset opportunities
- Leading ecologists and bush regeneration teams
- Managing ecology projects from planning to delivery
- Advising project teams with practical ecological solutions
- Ensuring compliance with environmental approvals and legislation
- Driving integration between ecology, construction, and nursery teams
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset
- Excellent communication with clients and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of NSW environmental regulations
- Strong planning, budgeting, and risk management skills
- Strong leadership in ecology or environmental consulting
- A degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or related field
- Hands-on experience in assessments, reporting, and fieldwork
