Our client is a specialist supplier to the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and civil construction industry, supporting contractors across Australia with tooling, consumables, and equipment. About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to take ownership of warehouse operations and contribute to the success of the team. You will be responsible for managing stock, supporting internal workshop and sales teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day logistics.

Reporting directly to the leadership team, your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer and internal workshop orders
• Maintaining stock accuracy with clear labelling and regular checks
• Receiving, checking, and storing stock; loading and unloading trucks
• Performing basic admin tasks such as data entry and stock system updates
• Coordinating with the onsite mechanic to prepare parts and tools for workshop jobs
• Supporting the sales team with occasional customer interaction at the trade counter
• Taking initiative on slower days to reorganise stock, update labels, and improve storage
• Running the parts store and warehouse, ensuring it's clean, organised, and customer-ready

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid forklift licence and manual driver’s licence
• A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in as needed
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on mindset
• Experience in a warehouse, storeperson, or parts-based role
• Confidence using inventory systems and completing basic admin
• Good communication skills and a service mindset when working with internal teams and trade customers

Bonus points for:

• Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with tools and equipment
• Interest in learning about HDD and underground construction
• Experience in a trade, construction, or machinery environment
