About The Opportunity

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time basis, working 32 hours per week from the comfort of your own home. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger accounts
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconciling bank statements and corporate credit card transactions
• Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS statements accurately
• Processing payroll and maintaining up-to-date employee records
• Monitoring cash flow and preparing regular financial reports
• Assisting with month-end and year-end financial procedures
• Liaising with external accountants and auditors when required
• Ensuring compliance with Australian accounting and taxation requirements

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience using MYOB and Xero software
• Strong knowledge of Australian GST, PAYG, superannuation, and STP
• Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification
• Payroll processing experience with BAS Agent registration desirable
• Previous experience working within a professional bookkeeping practice
• High accuracy with strong organisational and time management skills
• Clear written and verbal communication with teamwork and autonomy
