About The Company
Our client is an established environmental services organisation delivering ecological restoration and land management projects across Brisbane and surrounding regions. Working across council, utility and conservation sites, they focus on meaningful, visible on-ground outcomes including habitat restoration, weed management and broader conservation initiatives.
With a team of approximately 35 staff, they foster a supportive and collaborative culture, prioritising accountability, innovation and strong stakeholder relationships.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver ecological restoration and land management projects end-to-end, from scope and planning through to delivery and reporting, ensuring high-quality environmental outcomes across multiple sites.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships with councils, utilities and land managers
- Identifying opportunities to improve services and strengthen partnerships
- Managing budgets, schedules, contractors and resources across multiple sites
- Completing monitoring, compliance and performance reporting accurately and on time
- Overseeing field staff and contractors to ensure ecological, safety and quality standards are met
- Developing project scopes, specifications and annual work programs aligned with ecological priorities
This is a full-time position based in Mount Gravatt, with travel to sites across Brisbane and surrounding regions as required. An immediate start is available.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to work outdoors
- Experience managing contractors or field teams across multiple sites
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills
- Relevant qualification in environmental science, ecology or natural resources
- 3+ years’ experience in ecological restoration, conservation or land management
- Proven experience delivering projects end-to-end including planning, execution and reporting
