About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide high-level reception and administrative support while ensuring patients feel genuinely cared for and supported in what can often be an emotional and fast-paced environment.
Reporting directly to the Practice Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Medicare, DVA and Eclipse billing
- Guide patients through completing surgical paperwork
- Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and empathy
- Managing appointments, phone enquiries and triaging urgent cases
- General administration, records management and accounts support
This role requires someone who can prioritise effectively and respond calmly when urgent or unexpected situations arise.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous medical reception experience (highly regarded)
- A proactive, service-first mindset with a strong work ethic
- A genuinely caring nature and love of working with elderly people
- The ability to think on your feet and make sound decisions under pressure
- High level of attentiveness with the ability to notice and act on important details
