About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to coordinate daily factory operations, manage production workflows, and ensure the efficient movement of materials and finished products across the manufacturing process.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating day-to-day production activities within the factory
- Managing stock levels and ordering factory consumables
- Coordinating the dispatch of completed timber windows and doors
- Reading and interpreting production plans and drawings
- Assisting with the daily manufacturing requirements of the workshop
- Organising the movement of stock between factory locations
- Liaising closely with office production staff to ensure smooth workflow
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Current Forklift Licence (Essential)
- Previous experience within timber manufacturing, joinery, or a similar production environment
- Experience coordinating production, warehouse, or factory operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team
