About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide hands-on site leadership and coordination across a growing portfolio of commercial projects. You will represent our client on site, ensuring smooth trade facilitation, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation, and providing practical carpentry support where required to keep projects on track.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Performing hands-on carpentry and multi-skilled trade duties as required (approximately 20% on the tools)
- Representing the business on site and coordinating trades to ensure efficient workflow
- Ensuring site safety and compliance requirements are met at all times
- Overseeing quality assurance, defect identification, and resolution
- Providing operational support to the broader project team
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong carpentry background with multi-skilling capabilities (experience in commercial fit-outs or architectural projects highly regarded)
- Reliable, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high-quality sites
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Foreman or in a similar coordination-focused construction role
- Ability to use digital tools and apps for inductions, defect reporting, and communication
- Sound knowledge of site safety and compliance requirements
- Confidence liaising with trades, builders, and site teams
- White Card (mandatory)
