About The Company
Our client is an established and growing independent automotive workshop based in Stratton, Western Australia. The business has recently undergone renovations including a new office space for the Service Advisor, freshly painted workshop floors and a clean, well organised environment. The workshop operates using fully digital systems including Automation workshop software, digital job cards and integrations with major parts suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and streamlined operations.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to manage the front of the workshop and oversee the service process from the time a customer books their vehicle in through to collection. The role acts as the key connection between customers and technicians while ensuring the workshop workflow runs efficiently and customers receive a high level of service.
Reporting directly to the Business Owner, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers, managing bookings and acting as the primary point of contact throughout the service process
- Maintaining digital job cards, service records and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to quality standards
- Communicating with customers regarding vehicle status, repairs and collection
- Preparing repair quotes, obtaining approvals and invoicing completed work
- Managing daily workshop workflow and allocating jobs to technicians
- Ordering parts from preferred suppliers and coordinating deliveries
The Service Advisor plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining strong customer satisfaction and supporting overall workshop productivity.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Approximately 3+ years experience as a Service Advisor within an automotive workshop
- Experience quoting mechanical repairs and coordinating workshop jobs
- A positive attitude and willingness to follow systems and processes
- Familiarity with workshop management software systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- A current driver’s licence
