About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to maintain, repair and support the wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment used across the farming operation.
Reporting directly to management, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintaining agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, trucks and implements
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and performing repairs efficiently
- Conducting preventative maintenance programs to ensure machinery reliability
- Assisting with machinery preparation during peak cropping and harvest periods
- Maintaining workshop equipment and ensuring safe work practices
- Supporting farm operations by ensuring equipment is ready and operational when required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a mechanic within agriculture, heavy diesel, or machinery maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage maintenance schedules
- Practical mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work within a small team
- A current driver's licence
Experience working with modern agricultural machinery and farm equipment will be highly regarded.
