About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to carry out auto electrical installation, assembly and fault-finding across new and rebuilt crane equipment.

Reporting directly to the Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Assembly of control panels, wiring looms and associated systems
  • Installation of electrical harnesses and components
  • Assisting in prototype builds of new machinery
  • Integration of electrical systems into vehicles
  • Ensuring a safe working environment
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience working on heavy vehicles/equipment (12V and 24V systems)
  • Trade qualification as an Automotive Electrician (Cert III or equivalent)
  • Ability to manufacture wiring looms and control panels
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit diagrams
  • Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Basic computer and hand tool skills

In addition, you will:

  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Take pride in the quality of your workmanship
  • Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence
  • Be reliable and punctual
