About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this is to lead the development, submission, and stewardship of successful grant and philanthropic funding for GirlGuiding New Zealand, while supporting broader fundraising initiatives that strengthen the organisation’s sustainability, impact, and long-term growth.
Reporting directly to the Management team, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing grant funding strategies aligned to organisational goals
- Identifying and securing funding from trusts, foundations, and other sources
- Preparing high-quality funding applications, reports, and documentation
- Managing funding pipelines, reporting, and stakeholder engagement via CRM systems
- Tracking funding outcomes and ensuring accurate reporting to stakeholders
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with funders and partners
- Supporting additional fundraising initiatives, donations, and income streams
- Contributing to impact reporting and organisational growth initiatives
- Ensuring brand integrity and positive representation to external stakeholders
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in fundraising, grants, or philanthropic roles
- Proven success in securing funding and managing reporting obligations
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational capability
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
- A proactive attitude with strong stakeholder engagement skills
