About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the business, ensuring strong financial performance, high-quality project delivery, and a high-performing team culture.
Reporting directly to the Director, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing management and supervisory teams
- Building and maintaining key client, contractor, and supplier relationships
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and ISO management systems
- Managing financial performance including budgets, forecasting, and profitability
- Monitoring performance across safety, quality, financial, and operational metrics
- Driving business development, tendering strategies, and new market opportunities
- Developing and executing the company’s strategic plan aligned with growth objectives
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across construction, maintenance, and project delivery
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role (General Manager or similar)
- Strong background in commercial landscaping, construction, or related industries
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen
- Experience managing large teams and multiple projects
- Demonstrated leadership and team development capability
- A results-driven and strategic mindset with high accountability
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
