About The Company
Our client is an established environmental services organisation delivering ecological restoration and land management projects across Brisbane and surrounding regions. Working across council, utility and conservation sites, they focus on meaningful, visible on-ground outcomes including habitat restoration, weed management and broader conservation initiatives.
With a team of approximately 35 staff, they foster a supportive and collaborative culture, prioritising accountability, innovation and strong stakeholder relationships.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to lead and support the delivery of ecological restoration and land management projects, with a strong focus on on-site supervision, team leadership and high-quality environmental outcomes across multiple locations.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supervising field teams across multiple ecological restoration sites
- Assisting with project planning including scopes, work programs and site plans
- Coordinating day-to-day site activities, resources and contractors
- Monitoring project progress and supporting reporting and compliance requirements
- Ensuring all on-site works meet ecological, safety and quality standards
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with councils, utilities and land managers
This is a full-time position based in Mount Gravatt, with regular travel to sites across Brisbane and surrounding regions. An immediate start is available.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to work outdoors
- 3+ years’ experience in ecological restoration, conservation or land management
- Experience leading field teams or supervising crews on-site
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills
- Relevant qualification in environmental science, ecology or natural resources
