About The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Accurately pricing large-scale electrical projects based on tender documentation and drawings
  • Preparing detailed take-offs, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and tender submissions
  • Interpreting plans, specifications, and consultant documentation with meticulous attention to detail
  • Assessing project risk, labor costing, procurement, and subcontractor pricing
  • Managing multiple tenders simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines
  • Collaborating closely with project delivery teams to ensure a seamless transition from tender to construction
  • Utilizing estimating software and technology effectively in your daily tasks
  • Engaging in negotiations and maintaining professional communication with suppliers and clients

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in electrical estimating within the commercial and/or industrial sector
  • A strong understanding of Australian Standards, electrical systems, and construction methodologies
  • Proficiency with estimating software such as Simpro, Accubid, Groundplan, Bluebeam, or similar
  • Experience in Defense, government, education, healthcare, or large commercial projects is highly regarded
  • A current Australian driver’s license and an electrical trade qualification (preferred)
