About The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Production Worker in Aluminum Manufacturing to join our team at our Slacks Creek location. This position involves a variety of responsibilities integral to our production process, including:
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in accordance with OH&S policies.
- Operating workshop machinery efficiently and following job schedules to meet production targets.
- Preparing and aligning components prior to assembly, and fabricating panels and gates as needed.
- Performing tasks such as cutting, routing, rollforming, riveting, and other fabrication duties with precision.
- Collaborating with the Production Manager on manufacturing decisions and informing the Purchasing Manager of stock needs.
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A willingness to jump in, lead when needed, and support your team.
- Solid trade skills in metal fabrication with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
- A physical capability to handle demanding tasks associated with daily production activities.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately measure and interpret technical drawings.
- Practical problem-solving abilities, showcasing an understanding of how components fit together.
