About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to carry out plumbing installations, maintenance and repair works while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with plumbing codes and industry standards.

Reporting directly to the relevant Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and connecting pipes, fixtures, valves, taps, toilets, hot water systems, pumps and appliances
• Inspecting plumbing systems, identifying faults and completing maintenance and repair works
• Locating and repairing leaks, blockages and damaged water, gas and drainage components
• Conducting testing and compliance checks to ensure systems meet required standards
• Responding to urgent plumbing issues including burst pipes, sewer blockages and gas leaks
• Recording work completed, materials used and time taken for job sign-off and invoicing purposes
• Providing professional customer service and communicating required works with clients
• Following all Work Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience as a qualified plumber undertaking maintenance and small works projects
• Relevant plumbing qualifications and licences
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• A commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
