About The Opportunity
They are seeking a motivated Junior Residential Project Manager / Electrician to become an integral part of their expanding team. This unique role combines hands-on electrical work with project management responsibilities, allowing you to make significant contributions to their projects while developing your leadership skills. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating trades, materials, and workflow on-site
- Problem-solving and facilitating day-to-day project delivery
- Maintaining timelines, quality control, and site organisation
- Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior electricians
- Assisting in managing projects from initial rough-in to final completion
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and presentation are upheld
- Executing hands-on electrical tasks across various residential projects
- Reading and interpreting plans while proactively planning upcoming works
- Liaising professionally with builders, clients, and suppliers to ensure project success
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- NSW Electrical Licence
- White Card and Full Driver Licence
- Own tools and professional presentation
- A strong work ethic and pride in your craft
- Good understanding of AS/NZS 3000 standards
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- Minimum 3+ years of post-trade experience in residential electrical work
- Excellent communication skills for effective liaison with clients and team members
You will also have:
- Experience in high-end residential projects
- Leadership or team coordination experience
- Knowledge of home automation systems (Control4, Dynalite, etc.)
- Experience with switchboard upgrades and data & communications
- A keen interest in project management and leadership development
