About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to support the warehouse and installation team with deliveries, collections, general warehouse duties, and basic shopfitting work.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with general warehouse duties and keeping work areas organised
- Driving to residential sites to collect old kitchens and cupboards
- Transporting removed cabinetry and materials back to the warehouse
- Delivering new kitchens, cupboards, and materials to customer sites
- Assisting the installation team with basic shopfitting and renovation tasks
- Using basic hand and power tools to assist with works as required
- Loading and unloading cabinetry, materials, and equipment as required
- Supporting the wider team with general day-to-day duties when required
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A current Manual Driver's Licence
- An interest in hands-on work, carpentry, or kitchen installations
- Confidence using basic hand and power tools
- Ability to safely undertake physical and manual work
- A reliable, practical, and willing-to-learn attitude
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
- A positive approach to helping wherever required
Previous industry experience or formal qualifications are not required. For someone interested in developing a trade career, there may also be an opportunity to pursue a Carpentry Apprenticeship.
