About The Opportunity

Reporting directly to senior management, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and improving HSE policies, procedures, and systems across all sites
• Conducting risk assessments, hazard identifications, and site audits
• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
• Delivering training, toolbox talks, and inductions to staff and contractors
• Managing HSE reporting and liaising with regulatory bodies
• Mentoring junior staff and advising site leaders on best practice

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualification in OHS, Environmental Management, or related discipline
• Professional certification such as CECA, COHSQA, or equivalent
• 2–5 years' HSE experience, ideally within construction
• In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation, including QLD-specific regulations
• Proven experience building HSE management systems and risk assessments
• Strong communication skills across all levels of a business
