About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to retain and grow the Queensland customer base by promoting an extensive range of industrial workwear garments across metropolitan and regional markets.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will work autonomously from a home office, travelling regularly to meet with existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities throughout Queensland.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Retain, manage and grow an established portfolio of Queensland customers
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across metropolitan and regional QLD
- Develop an annual territory sales plan to achieve agreed sales targets
- Plan weekly customer visits and regular regional sales trips
- Build strong relationships while identifying opportunities to increase customer spend
- Maintain strong product knowledge and effectively promote the workwear range
- Contribute to product design and development based on changing market trends
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous sales experience within industrial workwear garments
- Demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong ability to work autonomously and manage a large sales territory
- Excellent planning skills for customer visits and regional travel
- Self-motivated, results-driven approach with strong career ambition
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer relationship and new business development capabilities
- Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and general computer skills
