About The Opportunity
This is a full time, immediate start opportunity for an experienced removalist driver ready to grow into a fleet coordination role. Working closely alongside the business owner, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out day to day removalist driving duties, including furniture removals for home and office relocations
- Liaising directly with customers to ensure a smooth, professional moving experience
- Answering phones and helping to book in jobs, with first impressions front of mind
- Assisting with job scheduling and coordination in support of the owner, rather than in a management capacity
- Progressively training into the coordination side of the business, with a view to relieving the owner during short breaks and eventual holidays
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years' experience as a removalist driver undertaking day to day removals
- A minimum MR driver's licence (essential)
- Exceptional telephone manner and customer service skills, ready to represent the business at first point of contact
- A container forklift licence (highly regarded, not essential)
