About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to safely deliver high-quality timber windows and doors to customers throughout the Sydney metropolitan area, with occasional deliveries to regional NSW.
Working from prepared delivery runs, you will operate a flatbed truck independently while ensuring products are handled carefully and customers receive professional and courteous service.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering timber windows and doors throughout Sydney metro areas
- Completing occasional deliveries to regional and country NSW
- Safely transporting products using a flatbed delivery truck
- Handling windows and doors carefully to prevent damage in transit
- Contacting customers approximately one hour prior to arrival
- Providing courteous and professional service at customer sites
- Following prepared delivery schedules and completing runs independently
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous delivery driving experience or experience in a similar role
- A Class C driver's licence to operate the required flatbed truck
- A good driving record with no previous drink driving or drug convictions
- Ability to work independently and responsibly throughout the day
- Strong communication skills and a professional, courteous manner
- A high level of care when handling and transporting quality products
- Reliable, presentable and customer-focused approach to work
