About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to generate residential solar sales through outbound sales calling while also identifying upgrade opportunities across existing insurance customers.
This is an office-based role where you will manage the sales process from initial discovery through to proposal and close, supported by ongoing training and a proven sales framework.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct outbound calls and discovery conversations with prospective customers
- Understand customer requirements and identify suitable solar solutions
- Prepare and send proposals while clearly explaining available options
- Follow up prospective customers and confidently progress opportunities towards a sale
- Manage the sales process from initial conversation through to successful close
- Engage existing insurance customers to identify relevant upgrade opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer information while providing professional ongoing service
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous phone based sales experience
- Strong communication, relationship-building and closing skills
- Technical mindset with the ability to understand and explain product solutions
- Proactive and driven approach with a strong desire to achieve sales results
- Ability to think quickly, problem-solve and use initiative
- Adaptable approach with the ability to respond positively to change
- Strong organisation with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities
Previous solar experience is not essential, making this an opportunity for a capable salesperson looking to develop within the industry.
